For the forthcoming Journal we're going to do a Top 20 of nominated songs or albums about or inspired by the capital, so put your favourite in the comments below, or email info@londonsociety.org.uk

Will you go for a classic such as 'London Calling' or 'Waterloo Sunset'? Or the whole of 'Abbey Road', What about 'Streets of London' (or even 'Werewolves of London'). Perhaps you hark back to the earlier charms of 'Maybe it's Because I'm a Londoner', or 'London Pride', or even 'A Foggy Day in London Town'?
