Would you like to contribute to the next issue of the Journal of the London Society?

What we need:

  • short, focussed opinion pieces (approx 500 words)
  • 'think pieces' relating to some of the current London Society themes (eg high streets, parks & green spaces, great estates, engineering & infrastructure)
  • general writers who can research and write case studies
  • A books editor to call in relevant publications and coordinate reviews

All pieces should reflect the Society’s core interest of ‘valuing the past; looking to the future’.

If you are interested, do get in touch – but please don’t send in any unsolicited pieces - by emailing editor@londonsociety.org.uk. Ideally, commissioned pieces would need to be written in early October.

Unfortunately all contributions to the Journal (including the editing!) are unpaid, but we can repay contributions with tickets to events.
