“At a time of great change, and with the political landscape shifting and both Mayoral and general elections planned for 2024, we thought that it would be a great time to reach out to our community – both professionals, school children and members of London’s great public – to call for blue-sky ideas about how we can ‘reimagine’ London’s built environment to make a more equitable, sustainable and prosperous city.

“We are looking for fresh ideas for local areas as well as city-wide solutions to improve how we live, work and play in the city and will be presenting the best ideas to the Mayor’s team and key influencers from London’s real estate and cultural sectors, with a £10,000 prize fund to be shared amongst winning entries.”

Reimagine London is a competition that is open to everyone, seeking out ideas to help shape the future of the city. Whether you're a designer, innovator, entrepreneur, student, part of a community group or any other passionate Londoner, share your unconventional and exciting ideas for our capital city and stand a chance to win from a £10,000 prize fund and more.

The NLA team are seeking ideas that inspire change, reimagine the city's experience, and tackle real issues or introduce ambitious new concepts. Whether it's theoretical, blue-sky thinking, or focused on specific areas, buildings or tactics, your idea could shape the future of London.

The judges include Johanna Agerman Ross, Chief Curator at the Design Museum; Amy Lamé, London Night Czar Office of the Mayor of London; Adam Nathanial Furman, a multi-award winning artist and designer based in London and Rob Heasman, CEO of The Earls Court Development Company (ECDC)
