EVENT - Distillery Tour
Gin glorious Gin – Sold Out
55 Stanworth Street, SE1 3NY, 30 (15 people per tour group) may attend.

As part of the Christmas celebrations, the Society will be visiting the new Bermondsey Distillery, one of a growing number of micro distilleries in London now making the spirit which has played such a key role in the capital’s history.
Bermondsey Distillery is the home of Jensen’s Bermondsey London Dry Gin and Jensen London Distilled Old Tom, two gins based on traditional recipes.
Fittingly they are made in a part of London with strong links to gin making.

Olivia Williams, is a keen London historian.  She is the author of ‘Gin Glorious Gin - How mother's ruin became the spirit of London’ and will take part in  a Q&A, discussing the fascinating history she has uncovered in researching her book.
Signed copies of the book will be on sale on the evening – an ideal solution for last minute Christmas presents.

Due to the limited space in the distillery, we will be staggering tours around Olivia’s Q&A session at 6pm.
Tours will commence at 5pm and 7pm, strictly 15 people per tour.
